1 Minute Meditation for Awareness of Breath

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.
Let your eyes gently close or soften your gaze.

Bring your attention to your breath.
No need to change it — just notice it.

Feel the air as it moves in through your nose...
and out through your mouth.
Inhale...
Exhale...

If your mind wanders, that's okay.
Gently return your focus to the breath.

Feel your chest rise and fall...
Feel your belly expand and soften...

Each breath anchors you in the present moment.
Just this breath… and now this one...

[Pause for a few deep breaths.]

Now, slowly bring your awareness back to the space around you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready, gently open your eyes.

You are here. You are present.
