1 Minute Meditation on Forgiveness for Yourself & Others

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in… and out.

Allow your body to relax and your mind to soften.

Now, bring to mind someone you wish to forgive—or perhaps yourself.
Silently say: "I am willing to let go. I choose peace over pain."

Take a deep breath.
If it's yourself you’re forgiving, say: "I forgive myself. I am human, and I am learning."

If it's someone else, say: "I forgive you. You were doing the best you could at the time."

Notice any tension or resistance… and with your next breath, gently release it.

Allow a feeling of compassion to rise in your heart—for yourself, and for others.

Take one more deep breath in… and out.

When you're ready, gently open your eyes.
