3 Yoga Poses for Detox & Twists

First is Revolved Chair Pose – Start by standing in mountain pose. Bend your knees and sit your hips back like you're in a chair. Bring your palms together at your heart in prayer position. Twist your torso to the right, hooking your left elbow on the outside of your right knee. Keep your knees level and chest lifted. Hold for 5–10 breaths, then switch sides.

Benefits - Stimulates digestion, tones the abdominal organs, strengthens legs and glutes.

 

Next is Revolved Triangle Pose - Start in triangle pose, right foot forward. Square your hips as much as possible to the front. Extend your left arm down to the floor (or a block) outside your right foot. Reach your right arm up to the sky, stacking your shoulders. Keep your spine long and your chest open. Hold for 5–8 breaths, then switch sides.

Benefits - Improves balance, stimulates the liver and kidneys, aids in digestion and detoxification.

 

Next is Supine Spinal Twist - Lie on your back, hug your right knee into your chest, cross it over to the left side of your body. Extend your right arm out and look toward the right hand. Keep both shoulders grounded. Hold for 10–15 breaths, then switch sides.

Benefits - Gently massages abdominal organs, relieve tension in the spine, supports elimination and detox.
