Healthy Onion Rings & Dipping Sauce
Ingredients:
Chips (Low Carb):
1 medium onion, sliced thinly
½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Organic olive oil spray
Seasonings of choice – 1/4 tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp onion powder, dash of paprika, pinch of salt & pepper
Sriracha mayo:
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
Minced pickles (about 2 tsp)
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F
Slice your onion about ¼ inch thick.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and lay down a generous layer of parmesan cheese.
Next, lay your onions onto the baking sheet separately.
Season with your powders and salt & pepper and spray with avocado spray, making sure you coat everything evenly.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and allow to cool for an additional 2-3 mins.
As it’s cooling, make your sriracha by mixing all 4 ingredients together and serve with your onion rings.
