One Minute Meditation for Inviting Joy
Find a comfortable position and softly close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose… and let it out through your mouth.
Again, breathe in—easy and full—then release.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw unclench.
There’s nowhere else you need to be.
Now, imagine a small, warm light in the center of your chest.
With each inhale, that light grows a little brighter.
With each exhale, it spreads—through your chest, your arms, your face.
This light is joy.
Not forced. Not loud.
Just a quiet sense of okay-ness, of being alive right now.
You don’t have to earn it.
You don’t have to chase it.
Let joy meet you where you are.
Take one more deep breath in…
and as you exhale, gently open your eyes—bringing that light with you.
