One Minute Meditation for National Stress Awareness Month
Begin by finding a comfortable seat, allowing your body to settle into a position where you feel at ease.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill completely. Hold it for a moment, and then gently exhale through your mouth, releasing any tension in your body.
Breathe in again, and as you do, imagine breathing in calm and peace. Feel the air filling your chest, and as you breathe out, imagine letting go of any stress or worries.
Now, bring your attention to the present moment. Notice how your body feels in this space—without judgment, simply observe.
Take another deep breath, and as you exhale, let go of any remaining tension, starting with your shoulders, then your arms, your legs, and all the way to your fingertips and toes. Feel your body light and relaxed.
As you continue to breathe slowly, remember that at this moment, you are safe, you are okay, and you are enough.
With each breath, allow yourself to feel more at peace and grounded.
Now, when you’re ready, gently bring your awareness back to the room around you, taking with you a sense of calm and relaxation that you can carry throughout your day.
